Andy Warhol (August 6, 1928 – February 22, 1987) was a leading personality of the 1960s and most famous for his works that exemplified the movement called Pop Art. Gay, eccentric as hell and at one time nearly dying from an assassination attempt by one of his "disciples", Warhol produced many iconic images from his Reynold's Wrap aluminum covered walls in a Manhattan studio dubbed, The Factory. Among others, his most recognizable works were the infamous Campbell's Soup can and his painting of Marilyn Monroe.
Warhol was not shy about an interview, either, and his words and thoughts appeared in various publications during his most productive period. This one is from the men's magazine, CAVALIER (September, 1966).
