THIS 'ZINE IS REALLY HOT STUF'! (PART 1)

HOT STUF'
Vol. 1 No. 1
Summer 1974
Publisher: Sal Quartuccio
Editor: ?
Cover: Ken Barr
Pages: 60
Cover price: $2.50

It's been well over 40 years ago, so I don't remember where exactly I bought the first issue of HOT STUF'. I do remember buying it because of the two Rich's, though: Rick Buckler, for his sword and sorcery story and Richard Corben for his two tales.

Although overshadowed by the incredible printing that is available now, this was an impressive magazine for the day. Lots of talent here, too.

NOTE: Ken Barr's cover was used as the paperback book cover for Gardner Fox's sword and sorcery novel, "Kyrik, Warlock Warrior" in 1975.
