What's not to like about this issue? Granted, there's no Basil Gogos cover, but comic book artist Maurice Whitman's work is not a bad rendition of Karloff as The Mummy. Inside are tons of photos of films that I was introduced to for the first time. I learned that our monster friends south of the border also created "Mexicreatures" for their peliculas. Articles on Lon Chaney, Universal's MONSTER ON THE CAMPUS, the indie-produced schlock-shocker THE CREEPING TERROR, and of course, pages and pages of Captain Company's monster goodies! Plus, there are announcements for two new Warren mags, MONSTER WORLD and CREEPY. A momentous issue!
