GOTH COUTURE: HORNS AND HEADRESSES
Years before cosplay became popular, goth fashion was in full flower. Imaginative costumes and everyday dress were freely adopted by this subculture. Among the more extravagant adornments of these fashions are exotic headdresses, the use of which is possibly a subversion of the Spanish mantilla, worn by women on holy days. Also in ubiquity are horns in various shapes and sizes, an obvious affinity to the Goat of the Witches Sabbath. Today are exhibited examples of both.
