In anticipation of the new Marvel Comics movie, MORBIUS, today's post features the first appearance of "The Living Vampire" from AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #'s 101-102. The script was by Roy Thomas, and the art by Gil Kane, who also designed the character of Morbius. Let's hope they both get their on-screen due. Inks are by John Romita in #101 and Fran Giacoia in #102.
NOTE: These scans, from MARVEL SELECTS (2000), reprint the two issues of the original Spider-Man comic from October and November, 1971.
