So goes the tale of of Marie Laveau, the legendary "Voodoo Queen of New Orleans". The story here from FANTASTIC October 1958 by Bryce Walton is just one of the many sensationalized tales of the woman who seemingly had the 1850's city of New Orleans in her thrall. A woman of beauty and mystery, she was the temptation of many a' writer. The cover and interior illustration are by Gabe Keith.
