THE THING! NO. 2 (CHARLTON)

THE THING!
Vol. 1 No. 2
April 1952
Song Hits, Inc. (Charlton Publications)
Editor: Alfred V. Fago
Cover: Bob Forgione
Pages: 36
Cover price: 10 cents

Behind a rather hideous cover lies another collection of very weird stories. The writer of these tales has yet to be identified and I haven't come across anyone who has even given it a guess. They are quite unique for the horror comics being circulated at the same time, and the plots are filled with twists and turns. All this coming from a publisher who, up until then was mainly concerned with popular song magazines like HIT PARADE. Now, that's weird!
