DEADTIME STORIES

Astute Monsterologists will recognize the name of tonight's DEADTIME STORIES author as actually being the work of two authors. Eando Binder was the pen name of Earl and Otto ("E and O") Binder, brothers who collaborated on a number of stories for science fiction magazines and comic books of the day. The two are most noted for their fictional creation, Adam Link, whose first appearance was in a 1939 novel entitled, I, ROBOT (not the same as Asimov's 1950 book with the same title). The Adam Link character was later adapted as an illustrated comic series in Warren's CREEPY. Later in their career, Earl became Otto's literary agent. Otto Binder is famous for his authoring of many stories for Fawcett's CAPTAIN MARVEL comic books. Shazam!

Tonight's DEADTIME STORY is from BEWARE! TERROR TALES #2 (Fawcett, July 1952).
