Monster trading cards have enjoyed a fairly healthy lifespan. For instance, ever since the late 1950's, Topps' YOU'LL DIE LAUGHING series has been issued no fewer than three times . . . to say nothing of using one of the same gags in each one of them (1959, 1972, 1980). A kind of monster Dept. of Redundancy Dept., right?
