Last weekend, we took a look behind the scenes with Paul Vogel, the cameraman behind the lens for George Pal's 1960 film adaptation of H.G. Wells' THE TIME MACHINE.

Today, here is a look at the comic book adaptation that was published in 1956, before the story was a twinkle in Pal's eye. The script was written by Lorenz Graham and the artwork by Golden Age great Lou Cameron, with a standout cover by George Wilson (see the original art above) who would go on to produce hundreds of covers for Gold Key titles, including RIPLEY'S BELIEVE IT OR NOT, THE TWILIGHT ZONE and DARK SHADOWS. The text article on H.G. Wells is illustrated by another golden great, Alex Blum.
