Born Elsie M. Kornbrath on December 14, 1917 of Austrian descent, Elyse Knox was an actress, model and fashion designer. We all know her best for her role as Isobel Evans in THE MUMMY'S TOMB (Universal 1952).
These publicity photos are from her uncredited appearance as Duenna, the Dancing Girl in ARABIAN NIGHTS that was released soon after her meeting up with Kharis.
