Not only did Robert E. Howard pen tales of Conan the Barbarian, Solomon Kane and Kull of Atlantis, he also wrote numerous horror stories. "Pigeons From Hell" is probably his best known and it has been adapted in several media, including as an episode of Boris Karloff's THRILLER. There are other stories that equal it, in my opinion, and the one included here, in the first issue of JOURNEY INTO MYSTERY, "Dig Me No Grave", is one of them.
