A LOOK BACK AT 'IT'

I read Stephen King's "It" when it was published in 1986. At the time, I was immersed in his books and looked forward to each one as it was released. Coming in at over 1,100 pages, this one did not disappoint. When the TV mini-series came out, I sat, glued to the TV and watched each episode. Outside of a weak (and kind of corny) climax, I thought it was pretty darned good. Tim Curry's Pennywise the Clown performance is not to be missed and remains one of the iconic characters in horror film history.

Issue #6 of SCIFI ICONS TIMEWARP is a special on Stephen King. One of the articles is this one on the making of, and enduring legacy of one of his best novels.
