Good evening, monster kiddies! Have you brushed your teeth and ready for bed? Well, before you go, why not stay up a few more minutes reading this Deadtime story? It's by Robert Arthur (1909-1969), a prolific author who is probably most well known for his "Three Investigators" series of books. He also wrote and adapted the stories that were dramatized on the vintage 60s vinyl, "Alfred Hitchcock's Ghost Stories For Young People". This one's a tale of revenge from beyond a timeless tomb, published in the first issue of A. MERRITT'S FANTASY MAGAZINE from December, 1949!
