The venerable FAMOUS MONSTERS OF FILMLAND is planning for its next issue a 50th Anniversary tribute to Gamera. Despite its overtly outre design, derived from a turtle no less, the shelled one has been a very popular kaiju since its first appearance a half a century ago.
